This workshop builds upon our presenter’s, Cliff Hamrick’s, experience as a counselor and as an investigator with Child Protective Services (CPS) in Travis County. Cliff knows first hand the confusion that CPS can cause for counselors and social workers, and also the fear it can bring to clients’ lives.

Cliff Hamrick, LCDC, LPC-S

Cliff Hamrick has been in private practice for five years and specializes in working with addictions, male clients, and eating disorders. During his internship, he worked with Child Protective Services (CPS) where he learned the behind the scenes activities and decision-making processes of that agency. In his spare time, he enjoys learning about survival skills and has started a YouTube channel called Mental Survival.
