Anxiety disorders are the most prevalent mental health disorders worldwide. Roughly one-third of individuals experience an anxiety disorder in their lives, causing disruption and decreased quality of life. Different types of anxiety include social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), separation anxiety, and panic disorder.
When anxiety starts to interfere with your daily life, treatment is essential. At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, we offer effective treatment from a team of clinicians who support you every step of the way. Our programs combine evidence-based therapies and holistic care to help you build practical coping skills to manage repetitive behaviors, panic attacks, and specific phobias linked to anxiety.
Evidence-based care anchors our approach, combining medication management with individualized therapy to address your specific needs. We use multiple evidence-based therapies—cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is commonly used for anxiety because it helps you identify and change unhelpful patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior, while dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) builds skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Your experience is unique, and your symptoms of anxiety will vary. At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, we offer personalized treatment plans that help you address persistent anxiety, intense fear, and symptoms that can be crippling. Through our intake process, we learn about how anxiety is impacting your life and help you address your unique challenges.
We provide a comprehensive continuum of care for mental health, addiction, and co‑occurring disorders—ranging from assessment and outpatient therapy to intensive programs and aftercare. Engaging across levels of care helps you build coping skills, strengthen relapse‑prevention strategies, and transition smoothly back to daily life with lasting support. Our coordinated approach ensures treatment is progressive, personalized, and aligned with your recovery goals.
The Sage Recovery Villa and Westlake Center offer a luxury boutique experience that supports privacy and comfort. We offer you the opportunity to work with a mental health professional in a comfortable and supportive healthcare environment.
Family-centered services include psychoeducation, communication coaching, and structured family sessions to rebuild trust and improve home dynamics. Involving loved ones supports recovery, reduces relapse risk, and equips families with practical tools to support sustained wellness.
Our structured program for working professionals addresses confidentiality, schedule flexibility, and career‑focused reintegration. We combine targeted therapy, stress management, and vocational coaching to help you maintain professional performance while prioritizing mental health.
Effective anxiety treatment reduces persistent worry, restores sleep and concentration, and improves daily functioning and self‑confidence. With personalized care, you’ll regain problem‑solving capacity, strengthen relationships, and reclaim effectiveness at work, school, and home.
Anxiety disorders produce distinct emotional patterns—chronic worry in GAD, intense fear of judgment in social anxiety, sudden terror in panic disorder, and irrational dread in specific phobias. These emotional responses can be overwhelming and interfere with routine functioning.
Anxiety often leads to avoidance, social withdrawal, missed responsibilities, and declining performance. Our treatment focuses on reversing these behaviors with graded exposure, routine rebuilding, and skills that restore independence and engagement.
Cognitive effects include poor concentration, rumination, and slowed processing; physical signs can range from stomach upset and restlessness to racing heart, sweating, trembling, and shortness of breath. Addressing both domains is essential for full symptom relief.
Anxiety frequently co-occurs with depression, trauma‑related disorders, and substance use, complicating diagnosis and care. Integrated, our individualized treatment plans address all co-occurring conditions concurrently to improve outcomes.
Seek professional care if anxiety persistently impairs work, school, relationships, or daily tasks, or if symptoms include panic attacks, avoidance, or worsening sleep and concentration. Early intervention improves recovery and prevents escalation.

At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, our approach to treating anxiety is to address the root cause while helping you build skills that you can practice the rest of your life. We believe that mental wellness is sustainable when you practice skills to care for your needs. Therefore, we combine evidence-based treatments with holistic care to help you address gaps in your mental health care toolkit.
Anxiety is treatable, and not all treatment requires residential treatment or PHP. We offer unique treatment plans to help you learn coping skills you can use to care for your needs in real-world situations.
We offer a range of evidence-based therapies that can help you recover from debilitating anxiety.
As a behavioral therapy, CBT draws your attention to patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Through CBT, you can learn to shift these patterns toward healthier ways of thinking, improving your mental health and well-being. Additionally, CBT helps you discover how to impact these patterns daily, which allows you to manage your anxiety.
DBT teaches emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to reduce reactive behavior and improve stability.
In acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), you learn to be mindful of your experience and identify your personal goals. ACT helps you build improved motivation and commitment to change.
At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, we believe that mindfulness is the core to change. We offer mindfulness-based therapies that cultivate present‑moment awareness and self‑regulation skills, reducing reactivity and enhancing resilience.
All of our treatment is delivered through a trauma‑informed lens, recognizing how past trauma shapes symptoms and ensuring safety, choice, and empowerment throughout care.
Working with a counselor individually or in a group setting can be helpful in anxiety treatment. Personalized individual therapy targets your specific concerns, while group therapy provides skills practice, peer support, and real‑world feedback. Programs integrate both formats into comprehensive treatment plans.
Our whole‑person model blends evidence‑based clinical care with complementary supports—nutrition guidance, exercise, sleep optimization, and stress reduction—to restore balance across mind and body.
