Why Professionals & Families Choose Our Programs

Sage Recovery & Wellness Center is the go-to treatment center for peers in the industry and their loved ones. We combine holistic care with evidence-based treatments to support clients in managing mental health, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. Our world-class treatment center is ideal for clients looking for lasting recovery.

Trauma-Informed Care: We prioritize trauma-informed care, recognizing that many clients have experienced past traumas that profoundly affect their mental health and overall wellness. Our therapeutic environment fosters safety, trust, and empowerment, helping clients heal from their pasts while focusing on their future.

Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment: We believe that substance use doesn’t happen in a vacuum and that oftentimes substance use is a symptom of our mental health. If there is a substance use problem along with the mental health concern, we take a dual diagnosis approach and address them simultaneously. We take a close look at the underlying mental health symptoms and address those to ensure that the client can strengthen their mental health to maintain sobriety long-term.

Luxury Amenities: Our treatment center is designed to provide a luxurious, comfortable environment that enhances the recovery experience. With spa-like accommodations, gourmet meals prepared by professional chefs, and serene surroundings, we create a setting where clients can feel at home while they focus on healing.

Professional Programs: We offer professional programs specifically tailored to support individuals in high-demand careers. Understanding the unique pressures they face, our programming helps clients manage their professional obligations while prioritizing their mental health and wellness.

Full Continuum of Care: By offering the full continuum of care, clients can enter at different levels of care based on the amount of support they need for their unique situation. A treatment plan is developed with their clinical team, and the amount of support can be increased or reduced based on the individual’s unique situation and progress.

Levels of Care & Treatment Programs

At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, we believe that when your unique needs are met, you can learn new skills and take steps towards lasting recovery. Therefore, we offer multiple levels of care and match you with the program that best suits your needs.

Matching the Right Type of Treatment to Daily Life Needs

We believe the best treatment is one that aligns with your specific needs. Outpatient treatment allows you to attend to life’s responsibilities while still receiving evidence-based treatments that help you recover from mental health and/or substance use challenges.

group mutual support are meant to encourage members to develop the ability to regulate emotions, increase insight, and enhance the capacity to delay gratification.

Residential Treatment

Our residential treatment program is a fully immersive program providing 24/7 support in a nurturing environment for adults 18 and up requiring intensive care. With a low client-to-staff ratio of 1:5, small-group settings enable a more personalized approach to care. The average stay is 35 days, but treatment duration can range from a few weeks to up to 60 days, depending on the client and their needs to achieve lasting recovery.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

PHP is a structured program that allows adults, professionals, and families to benefit from daily therapeutic support, making it ideal for those transitioning from residential care or needing a high level of support.

Outpatient Mental Health Services and In-Person Care

At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, you can access our treatment programs through in-person care at our Westlake Center in Austin, TX. Our IOP is a flexible treatment option for clients who don’t require full-time residential care but still need support. This level of care offers programs to assist adults with mental health issues, substance use disorders, and those struggling with both concurrently. We also serve adolescents struggling with mental health disorders in our after-school program during the week.

Intensive Treatment Programs and Structured Support

Compared with outpatient mental health services, intensive programs provide greater structure and support. At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, our intensive outpatient program (IOP) and partial hospitalization program (PHP) provide more support while allowing you to attend to outside responsibilities.

Services for Mental Health, SUD, and Co-Occurring Disorders

At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, we understand that your path to recovery is unique. Therefore, we offer a range of integrated treatment options. These include individual therapy, group therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and support groups.

Psychotherapy and Talk Therapy

Talk therapy incorporates a variety of treatment options that help you gain clarity in your mental health, build skills, and learn how to address your mental health needs. At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, talk therapy is often a central treatment option if you are struggling with your mental health, addiction, or co-occurring disorders.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Both cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) are behavioral therapy options that address harmful patterns. CBT helps you better understand negative patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and actions while creating new, healthy patterns that support your recovery. DBT builds distress tolerance and is particularly helpful if you struggle with intense emotions due to bipolar disorder, personality disorders, PTSD, or depression.

Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, and Peer Support

At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, we know there is no single right path to recovery. We offer individual therapy, group therapy, and peer support groups, and often combine these options to provide the best care and support, helping you make better decisions and improve your well-being.

Support groups can be used to help patients who have already begun receiving treatment to maintain their new behaviors and reinforce their new belief systems and thought processes.

Medication & Psychiatric Care

While therapeutic intervention is helpful for recovery, medication and psychiatric care are also offered as treatment services at Sage Recovery & Wellness Center. Our mental health professionals and clinicians help you by addressing your needs through medication that addresses your symptoms.

Medication Management With a Mental Health Professional

Sometimes meditation is necessary. We have a team of skilled psychiatric providers who can provide a thorough psychiatric evaluation and make suggestions for medications that may assist you in your mental health stability. Through medication management, you are guided through a process to discover how medication can improve your mental health.

At Sage Recovery & Wellness Center, we know that medication can play an important role in treatment. As a powerful tool, it needs to be managed by the right hands. Our psychiatric medication providers help you to be on the correct medication at the correct dose, making adjustments along the way.

Antidepressants, Antipsychotics, and Considerations for Side Effects

All medications have side effects, including antidepressants and antipsychotics. Our psychiatric team understands these side effects and, for those who need it, can help you find a medication that aids in your recovery with minimal negative side effects.

Integrating Medication Into a Thoughtful Treatment Plan

Our goal is to guide you through a treatment plan that improves your well-being. Medication can be a helpful addition to treatment, and we will integrate it into an individualized, holistic plan for those who need it or are interested in looking at medication-assisted treatment options.
