Sarah provides individual & family counseling along with group therapy for a local non-profit substance abuse organization.  Sarah is originally from Florida but has been in Texas since January of 2018 where she continues her work as an Addictions Counselor.  She received her Masters of Social Work from the University of West Florida with a focus on treating addiction.  Sarah has developed a strong sense of devotion for the field of addictions from working in the field since 2003.  She is skilled in using CBT, Motivational Interviewing techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy to empower and help her client’s recover from addiction.  Her experiences in working at child abuse & domestic violence agencies, inpatient/outpatient substance abuse clinics, hospitals, correctional facilities, detox units and many more have given her an even deeper motivation on trying to improve the quality of life that continues to be taken by the disease of addiction.

When she is not working, she enjoys catching a flick at the Alamo Drafthouse, going to Pinballz with her nephew, having fun on the lake, hanging with her fur-babies or hanging out with friends and family.
