Parenting together after divorce or separation presents challenges, even in the best of circumstances. These challenges can be heightened through a court system that leans toward highlighting differences and promoting adversarial approaches. In this presentation, we will become familiar with how our language as clinicians can make a positive difference in co-parenting situations, and how we can avoid becoming a negative advocate.

Nichole is in private practice in Pflugerville. She specializes in group therapy, couple’s therapy, and co-parenting. Having worked with young children early in her counseling career, she saw the damage ongoing conflict between separated/divorced parents created for kids.
