Sage Recovery Villa works with a number of out-of-network insurance providers to help clients cover the cost of your residential stay at our facility. We understand that the priority is getting better and not worrying about the complex details about insurance benefit coverage. Our Admissions team is ready to ensure insurance verification runs as quickly and smoothly as possible and answer any questions. Sage Recovery Villa will also obtain the necessary authorization for you to be able to submit what’s referred to as a “super bill” for your reimbursement.
Sage Recovery Villa is an out-of-network provider. An out-of-network provider is one which has not contracted with your insurance company for reimbursement at a negotiated rate. Some health plans, like HMOs, do not reimburse out-of-network providers at all. If you have a PPO policy that offers out-of-network benefits, your policy may cover a significant portion of addiction treatment costs.
The Admissions team contacts your insurance provider and collects all the information needed to verify your benefits. We assist you with getting approval to utilize your out of network benefits, reducing your out of pocket costs by getting reimbursed through your insurance company.
In order to verify your benefits, we will just need the following information:
- Company name of your insurance provider
- Your member ID number
- Your date of birth
- Your insurance company’s telephone number (can be found on the back of your insurance card)
