How Can Innovative Treatment Programs Empower Recovery?

Here at Sage Recovery, we understand that treatment is not one-size-fits-all. We believe there are multiple pathways to healing and, as a result, your treatment should be as unique as you are. We understand that every person carries their own hurts, needs, and goals. Therefore, each treatment should be customized to your specific needs so that you can heal as healthily as possible. Our innovative treatment approaches set us apart from others as we strive to provide customized treatment programs to empower our patients to take control of their futures.

Innovative Treatment for Business Professionals

Residential treatments can be so helpful for those that need them. However, what happens if you’re not able to take off 35 days of work? That’s where our business professionals program comes in. This program was created with business professionals in mind, who desire to receive treatment and also maintain their business responsibilities.

While attending treatment at Sage Recovery, patients in this program will have an individualized regimen to meet their unique needs. Patients will be able to receive the full residential treatment and will also have special times set aside to attend to their business needs, such as:

Each person in this program will have unique needs that will be discussed during the admissions process. That way, we can begin setting up a customized treatment plan that works best for your health and your job.

Innovative Treatment for Licensed Healthcare Professionals

In addition to our business professionals program, we also offer a special program specifically for licensed healthcare professionals. This program typically lasts between 60-90 days, depending on the patient’s needs and the severity of the addiction. Some elements of the licensed healthcare professionals program include:

Outpatient Care

Another type of treatment that can empower recovery is outpatient care. Outpatient care is a type of treatment that allows patients to live at home and commute to a treatment facility during the day. This is different than residential treatment, in which the patient lives and receives treatment on campus.

A publication by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) explains that the people that benefit the most from outpatient programs are those that have a healthy support system. As stated, “People who do best in an outpatient program are willing to attend counseling sessions regularly, have supportive friends or family members, have a place to live, and have some form of transportation to get to treatment sessions (some programs will provide transportation if needed).”

Here at Sage Recovery, we offer outpatient care for adults and adolescents. Some services offered in our adult outpatient program include:

Intensive Outpatient Program

In addition to our outpatient programs, we also offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP). This program includes clinical treatment for 3 hours a day at least 3 days a week. The average duration of treatment is about 7 weeks, however, the program is customized based on the client’s needs, schedule, and health goals.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is for people who don’t need constant 24-hour care but also need more intense treatment. The PHP includes 5.5 hours of programming, 5 days a week. This program can be beneficial as a stepping stone for those who are transitioning out of residential treatment or for those who need more intensive treatment while living at home.

Offering outpatient and partial hospitalization programs empower patients with the option to be able to live at home while they receive treatment. This can be extremely beneficial for people who have children at home, family responsibilities, and positive support systems in place. The power of choice goes a long way, especially for people who may have felt so out of control of their life for a long time.

Complementary Innovative Treatment

In addition to traditional evidence-based treatments like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), it is common for clinicians to combine other treatments to create a customized care plan. This is often referred to as a complementary health approach: when two or more techniques work together to reach a desired outcome.

Some innovative, holistic approaches that we often use in tandem with traditional techniques could include:
