Sage Recovery & Wellness Center is a fast growing outpatient mental health center for adults and adolescents struggling with mental health, alcohol and/or substance abuse; offering individual counseling, couples & family counseling, yoga, acupuncture detoxification, group therapy and intensive outpatient group therapy programs. Sage is located in Austin, TX approximately one mile west of the Capital of Texas Highway on Bee Caves Rd. in Westlake.

 

 

THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains master employee database and associate files.
  • Tracks all training and licenses to ensure compliance with state and local guidelines.
  • Prepares associate files for onboarding and orientation.
  • Verifies I9 documents and forms in both electronic and paper form.
  • Creates and distributes email announcements to new employees.
  • Prepares and processes new hire documents.
  • Monitors, records, and reports all pre-employment screenings.
  • Performs electronic and paper employment record file audits, identifies deficiencies, and collaborates with associates to update and maintain current information.
  • Coordinates benefit administration through processing of insurance enrollments, terminations, and changes while responding to employee inquiries.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Assist new associates in training as requested.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews
  • Communicate with leaders regarding candidate status in a timely and professional manner
  • Posting and advertising open positions
  • assist employees in contacting the appropriate organizations for answers to their benefits questions
  • Providing research and statistical information to staff in collecting, preparing and analyzing the information for use in implementation of procedures and policies.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

The ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of experience and proficiency in the following areas:

  • Minimum one (1) one year HR experience preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses a positive, energetic, and inspiring attitude.
  • Comfort with the ambiguity of a high-growth environment and, consistent with an early stage company, willing to pitch-in as needed to make the team successful.
  • Possess excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, balance multiple responsibilities, set priorities, and solve problems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft software products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good professional appearance.
  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
  • Professional maturity.
  • Ability to work independently and set personal goals, tasks and strategies.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity and physical ability required to perform assigned task.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 15-30 lbs.
  • Required to move from one location to another within and outside of the building; push, pull and reach; bend; stand for long periods of time; and sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SHRM Certification preferred but not required
