The course will cover the basic principles of EE Biofeedback (Neurofeedback). Biofeedback consists of a variety of approaches that use physiological measures to “feedback” information to the client using biomedical sensing instruments and specialized software. With the use of electroencephalogram (EEG), a non-invasive process; improvements in memory, concentration, focus, general calming, and sleep can be facilitated through EEG Biofeedback training (neurofeedback). Overall, Neurofeedback training is used to improve brain function. In this presentation you will identify how biofeedback may be utilized in your private practice as a supplemental modality. You will have the opportunity to see a live demonstration and gain understanding of how brainwaves are modified in EEG Biofeedback training.
